Where to learn online or with software; Spanish for Ecuador?
Next summer i am going to work in Amazonian Ecuador for 3 months, i will be amongst some English speakers, but lots of Local people. I want to learn the Language for further exploration in my spare time.
Plus i think it rude to be in a country without knowing the language.
Is it just Spanish or is there a special branch or dialect?
Pardon my ignorance.
Can you name any software / programmes / or sites for me to get started and get learning?
Thanks in advance ![]()

http://www.reverso.com/index-ES.html ….. it’s such a helpful page ’cause gives you so many examples … In Ecuador, there is not a special accent, the accent is so slowly, that’s good because you understand them

I would suggest that you visit http://www.squidoo.com/LearnAnotherLanguage as they have quite a few languages, one being Spanish.
The reason I suggest them is that… They offer a FREE 6-day course, meant for you to test out their program and realize just how powerful it is, and when I say powerful, I do mean powerful. They combine both audio lessons with interactive computer games. Strangely enough, it is also the cheaper of multiple products available. Fortunately, this is one case where "you get what you pay for" simply doesn’t fit the bill, as you get "much MORE than you pay for" with this package.
The games derived to help you learn online Spanish also make for a fun experience that makes it even easier to build vocabulary, learn verbs, and even improve your verbal recognition skills.
